Eight Greenwood students earn Pathway to Biliteracy Award
The Lee’s Summit R-7 School District recognized eight GWE students with their Pathway to Biliteracy Awards.
Pathway Awards recognize elementary and middle school students who have sought out second language acquisition opportunities in their communities or who have worked to maintain the native language spoken in the home.
The following students earned their Pathway Award at the end of the year:

- Japanese: Ainsley Valora (1st grade)
- Spanish: Ayla Yeager (3rd grade), Mackenzie Stoker* (3rd grade), Nora Moore** (5th grade), Cassidy Stoker* (5th grade), Laney Yeager (1st grade), Rylee Stoker (1st grade), Truman Moore (1st grade)
